About.
Curious about the story behind Sure Self and what makes this framework so transformative? You’re in the right spot!
Here’s a little about us and our mission behind the Sure Self Framework that’s all about helping you thrive.

About Me.

Hi, I'm Zoe lead counsellor and psychotherapist here.
Originally from the UK, my love of exploring landed me in Australia, and I'm now grateful to call it home! In my free time you will usually find me trying out a new brunch cafe, hiking with Ned (the beagle!), getting (a little too) competitive at games night, or settling down to watch the latest psychological thriller on Netflix (unoriginal for a therapist - I know!)
My passion for psychotherapy is rooted in my own experiences as a client and growing up with undiagnosed ADHD. This means I genuinely appreciate your courage in seeking out therapy, and I also genuinely know just how transformative the process can be!
What to expect
Clients often say I’m calm, supportive, and easy to open up to. I believe everyone is capable of change - you wouldn't be here if you weren't! Therapy here is collaborative, tailored to you and suitable for both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals. No need to worry about where to start, we’ll figure it out together.
My promise to you
I will be your biggest cheerleader on the tough days, and encourage you to challenge yourself when you're ready and raring to go! Together we'll build a safe, judgement-free space to uncover blind spots, find effective and healthy strategies to replace old habits, and embrace (and celebrate) your authentic, quirky, self!
Your first challenge
Challenge that negative internal voice that is making excuses not to start therapy - even if it's a loud one, it doesn't mean it's right! You are not beyond help, you are not overreacting, and you are not too much. You deserve support to live your best life and when you’re ready, we're here.
About Sure Self.
With extensive training in psychology, education, psychotherapy and trauma-informed movement, we take a holistic yet practical approach - looking at the whole picture: your mind, body, emotions, and environment - while using science-backed methods to help you find what works for you.

Therapy should be clear, empowering, and free of mysticism or vague advice. We want you to leave each session with practical tools, deeper self-awareness, and real knowledge - which is why we created the Sure Self Roadmap to guide your journey.
SECURITY
Feeling free to show up authentically, trust in who you are, and live in alignment with your values.
THE SURE SELF ROADMAP
Improving your wellbeing isn’t just about managing symptoms - it’s about building a strong foundation for a life where you feel confident, self-assured, and truly at home in yourself. That’s why we created the Sure Self Roadmap, a framework designed to help you develop the mindset, skills, and self-trust to navigate life on your terms.
Through our therapy sessions, we focus on strengthening these four key pillars that support your overall wellbeing and help you embody your ‘Sure Self’:
UNDERSTANDING
Meeting your stuck patterns with self-compassion, allowing you to break free from what no longer serves you.
RESILIENCE
Trusting in your tools, abilities, and inner strength to meet your needs and handle life’s challenges.
EMPOWERMENT
Owning your worth, celebrating your strengths, and expressing your needs and boundaries with confidence.
TAILORED THERAPY, BUILT AROUND YOU
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so we blend proven therapeutic methods to create tailored support, built around you. We don’t do quick fixes or cookie-cutter solutions - just genuine, tailored support to help you feel more in control, more confident, and more like yourself.
Depending on your needs, we may integrate:
• Psychodynamic Therapy: Unlocking your unconscious and unpacking deep-seated patterns.
• Attachment Theory: Understanding how relationships shape you and your needs.
• Person-Centred Therapy: A space where you’re truly heard and supported.
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Practical tools to manage thoughts and behaviours.
• Internal Family Systems (IFS): Exploring different parts of you, and building self-awareness and self-compassion.
• Polyvagal Theory: Understanding your nervous system to improve emotional regulation and resilience.
